How dice tables work
These are tables you write yourself — this isn't a library of pre-made generators.
- Choose a die (d4 to d100) and give each result an outcome. A new d6 table starts with six rows, one per face.
- Use ranges to group results — on a d20 table, 1–5, 6–10, 11–15 and 16–20 can each lead to one outcome.
- Every number on the die must lead to exactly one outcome. Overlapping or missing ranges are pointed out, and the table can't be saved until they're fixed. Nothing is filled in for you.
- Rolling shows the number and the matching outcome, and keeps the last 100 results for each table.
Saving and backups
Tables are stored in this browser and are there when you come back. Clearing browser data removes them, so use Export to download a backup file. Import checks the whole file first — if anything is wrong, nothing changes. If an imported table already exists, you choose whether to keep both or replace it.
Deleting a table also deletes its saved results.
